The Calgary Flames have acquired Yegor Sharangovich and a third-round pick (80th overall) in the 2023 NHL Draft from the New Jersey Devils in exchange for Tyler Toffoli.

Sharangovich is a 25-year-old 6'2 versatile player that plays all three forward positions and hails from Minsk, Belarus. He has been with the New Jersey Devils the past three seasons and has 205 career NHL games accumulating 53 goals and 53 assists for 106 points and 43 penalty minutes. The fifth-round draft pick in 2018 was ninth in team scoring for the Devils last season following a 24-goal campaign in 2021-22 which placed him third on the team. Prior to joining New Jersey in the lockout shortened season in 2020-21, he captained Minsk Dynamo (KHL) and scored 17 goals and added eight assists for 25 points in 34 games. Sharangovich has represented Belarus at two World Junior Championships (2016 & 2018) scoring four goals and adding two assists for six points in 12 games.
