CALGARY -The Calgary Flames announced today that they have claimed right winger Chris Stewart off waivers. Flames have also assigned defenceman Cody Goloubef to Stockton of the American Hockey League.
Stewart, a native of Toronto, Ontario, has scored nine goals and added four assists for 13 points in 47 games this season with Minnesota. The 30-year-old right winger has amassed 159 goals along with 159 assists for 318 points and 729 penalty minutes in 645 career games with Colorado, St. Louis and Minnesota.
