The Calgary Flames announced today that they have recalled defenceman Rasmus Andersson from the Stockton Heat of the American Hockey League. The Flames have also placed Travis Hamonic on IR.
Andersson, the 21-year-old defenceman from Malmo, Sweden has played 22 games with the Heat this season recording three goal and 13 assists totaling 16 points which leads all blue-liners in Stockton. He has been recalled to Calgary once prior this season, playing 13:56 minutes with a +2 rating in a 6-3 win over Detroit.
