CALGARY, AB --The Calgary Flames announced today that they have recalled defenceman Tyler Wotherspoon from their AHL affiliate, the Stockton Heat. The Flames also announced that they have assigned defenceman Brett Kulak to the Heat.
Wotherspoon, Calgary's second round pick (57th overall) in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, has played 18 games for Stockton this season and recorded six points (1G, 5A). The 23-year-old has played 26 games for the Flames over the last three seasons and has five assists. Wotherspoon also played in six playoff games for Calgary in 2014-15.
