Hollywood!
Earlier today, I caught a flight out of Calgary to head into LA for this weekend's NHL All-Star Game and couldn't be more excited to be here. I've been lucky enough to participate in the last two All-Star events and it's always so much fun for my family and I.

Right after we got to the hotel and took a look around LA Live, I went for a suit fitting for this weekend's events. Afterwards, I checked in with Kristin Hallett and our CalgaryFlames.com team for an interview ... they brought in a vintage Kelly Hrudey bandana to welcome me to LA, as pictured above!

I also stopped by the NHL Network, NHL.com and NBC Sports locations to do a few interviews with them as well.
On the walk back, we got to see more of LA Live and all of the events they have going on around the area. If you're in LA for the All-Star Game, you've got to check out the arena, LA Live and Fan Fair. They've got a ton of cool stuff happening every day and I'm definitely going to stop by a few more times before heading home.

Off to our family dinner now, I'll check in again tomorrow after the Skills Competition! I'll be participating in the Skills Challenge Relay with the Pacific Division team - I think it will be myself, Ryan Kesler, Joe Pavelski, Bo Horvat, Drew Doughty, Jeff Carter, Mike Smith and Cam Fowler taking on the Central Division!
