Elias Lindholm has been firing on all cylinders and his eight-point spree in his last three games has earned him First Star Of The Week honours from the NHL.

The 27-year-old kicked off the week with back-to-back three-point performances. On Tuesday, he scored one goal and three points in the 6-2 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets.

On Wednesday, he potted two goals and picked up an assist in the 6-2 win over the Anaheim Ducks at the Scotiabank Saddledome.

Lindholm finished off the week by scoring the game-winner in the 2-1 victory over the Seattle Kraken on Saturday night.

SEA@CGY: Lindholm extends scoring streak to 7 games

The forward has scored goals in seven straight games - one game shy of the franchise record, which is shared by Kent Nilsson and Gary Roberts.

Lindholm now has 22 goals and 48 points through 48 games this season, ranking him third amongst Flames forwards. His +38 rating is second in the NHL, behind only linemate Johnny Gaudreau, who is sitting at +40 heading into the week.
