Mike Smith stepped onto the ice at practice today at the Scotiabank Saddledome today with an incredibly cool looking new helmet.
Honouring Mike Vernon, the mask features a realistic paint job depicting the Flames legend wearing the '80s style Cat Eye goaltending mask.
The mask was painted by artist David Arrigo.
