After missing the entirety of the 2022-23 season, Flames President of Hockey Operations Don Maloney confirmed today that defenceman Oliver Kylington intends to return to the club for the upcoming season.

"We had some good news last week when talking with Oliver Kylington. It certainly seems he is in a very good place," Maloney said. "Told me he's excited about coming back next season which is very positive for the organization."

Kylington had a career year during the 2021-22 campaign, ending with 31 points (9G, 22A) in 73 games. The rearguard was a second round selection in the 2015 NHL Draft and has suited up for 168 games, all with the Flames, collecting 14 goals and 33 assists for 47 career points.
