Tampa Bay Lightning As you can see above (No. 26), the Flames traded their first-round pick to the Montreal Canadiens as part of a package for Tyler Toffoli back on Feb. 14. Calgary's third- and fourth-round picks, along with a second-round choice acquired in the 2021 Sam Bennett trade, were all moved in the past year to acquire Calle Jarnkrok, Nikita Zadorov and Dan Vladar. The remaining pick in this year's draft - a sixth-round selection - was traded with Bennett to the Florida Panthers last year. As a result, the Flames currently have three selections in the upcoming draft: The 2022 NHL Draft will be held at the Bell Centre in Montreal. The first round goes on Thursday, July 7 (5 p.m. MT), while Rounds 2-7 are on Friday, July 8 (9 a.m. MT).
