SEASON SERIES:Tonight's game is the second in a five-game season series between the Calgary Flames and Anaheim Ducks. The Flames dropped the first skate by a score of a 4-1 on Nov. 6 in Anaheim. Alex Chiasson scored Calgary's lone goal and Chad Johnson made 17 saves on 21 shots in the setback.

DUCKS' TEAM SCOPE:The Ducks are coming off of a 3-2 overtime loss to the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday night, snapping their three-game winning streak. Ryan Kesler and Rickard Rakell scored and netminder John Gibson made 29 saves in the loss. Anaheim now sits third in the Pacific Division with a 12-8-5 record and 29 points. Ryan Getzlaf leads the Ducks in scoring with two goals and 21 points in 22 skates. Ryan Kesler and Corey Perry round out the top three in scoring with 19 points apiece. With Gibson getting the start last night, the Flames could see Jonathan Bernier in net tonight. He has a 4-1-1 record with a 2.02 GAA and a .933 save percentage this season.
FLAMES' TEAM SCOPE: Tonight's game is the final skate in Calgary's three-game homestand. They are 2-0-0 in that stretch, picking up a 3-0 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Wednesday and a 3-2 overtime victory over the Minnesota Wild on Friday. After a rocky start to the year, the Flames have been playing more consistently and have gone 6-3-1 in their last 10 games. With 26 points in 27 games, they are on the cusp of sliding into one of the two Western Conference Wildcard spots, currently occupied by the Los Angeles Kings (13-10-1) and the Nashville Predators (11-8-4). Johnson is expected to get the start tonight. The netminder is 8-3-0 in his last 11 games and is coming off a 23-save performance against the Wild on Friday.
