MONTREAL - David Rittich will get the start this evening when the Flames face off against the Habs at the Bell Centre.
The Czech netminder's last start came on Jan. 5 - his 100th NHL appearance - in a 5-4 shootout win over the Minnesota. He made 30 saves in that comeback victory, giving him an 18-10-5 record with a 2.81 GAA and a .911 save percentage this season.
Rittich was in net against the Habs when they visited the Scotiabank Saddledome last month, making 39 saves in a 4-3 overtime setback.
