CALGARY - The Flames will need to alter their forward lines this evening when they host the Chicago Blackhawks.
Derek Ryan did not skate this morning due to illness and has been ruled out of this evening's match-up. With Ryan out, watch forSam Bennett to center Milan Lucic and Dillon Dube and both Zac Rinaldo and Tobias Rieder to draw into the lineup.
On defence, expect Brandon Davidson to remain in the lineup, skating alongside Oliver Kylington. Alexander Yelesin is expected to sit as a healthy scratch.
David Rittich is the expected starter. The 27-year-old has a 22-15-5 record with a 2.87 GAA and a .910 save percentage this season. He has two wins in his last three appearances.
