The Flames will make at least one adjustment up front tonight when they host the Vancouver Canucks at 8:00 PM MT (Sportsnet, CBC).
Head coach Geoff Ward confirmed Dominik Simon will make his Flames debut this evening. The forward skated on a line with Milan Lucic and Derek Ryan - Ryan is currently on the taxi squad and will need to be activated ahead of tonight's game to play but acted as the centre for that line during the morning skate.
Simon signed with the Flames as a free agent during the off-season, coming over from the Pittsburgh Penguins. During his 173-game tenure with the Penguins, he scored 19 goals and 64 points.
