CALGARY - The Flames will be without captain Mark Giordano this evening when they host the Nashville Predators.
Giordano has been placed on the injured reserve with a lower body injury and will be out of the lineup for a week. He will be re-assessed next week to determine his status moving forward. In his absence, the team has recalled Brandon Davidson from the Stockton Heat. Davidson is not expected to draw into the lineup this evening.
Cam Talbot is expected to get the nod in net this evening. The 32-year-old has three wins in his last five appearances and has put together a 7-7-1 record with a 2.70 GAA and a .919 save percentage this season.
