TORONTO -The Flames will go with David Rittich in net this evening when they face off against the Leafs.
The netminder, who was named to the Pacific Division NHL All-Star roster yesterday, is coming off a stellar performance in Montreal on Monday, making 35 saves in the setback.
"It's great. Obviously every single goalie wants to be in the net, same as me, so I'm glad Wardo sent me right back," he said after the Flames' morning skate at Scotiabank Arena.
"It's another day, another game, another opportunity to win a game and take two points. That's how I'm looking at it. It honestly doesn't matter who we're playing, in this league every single team is good."
As per the lines rushes this morning, it appears Zac Rinaldo, Michael Stone, and Alexander Yelesin will sit as healthy scratches vs. the Leafs.
