KADRI ON THE STRETCH DRIVE:

ON THE HOSTILE ENVIRONMENT TONIGHT:

"The first 10 minutes is a game in itself in this building. It's pretty loud and pretty rowdy. We just want to simplify early and hopefully settle them down a little bit, and of course scoring the first goal would be a huge help.
"I think those are the two most important parts of the game - the start and the finish. It's important to get off to a good start and when good teams are trailing, they're going to have a push at some point, so it's just about that that poise and composure and sustaining that."

"We gotta push"

TOFFOLI ON LAST MEETING WITH VEGAS:

"We came in here last time and had a good first half of the game. Then, obviously, it slipped away.
"I thought we played fast and were moving the puck really well. We were really good on the forecheck and that helps when they like to play fast and try to use their speed. If we can maintain that and play a good, hard game, I think we'll be in a good spot."

ON THE PLAYOFF PUSH:

"I think we've got to treat every game like it's our last and we've got to win. We've got to win every single game, so we've got to be ready to go tonight and start from here."

"We gotta treat every game like it's our last"

COACH MULLER ON FACING THE KNIGHTS:

"You've got to look at your opponent. The last game in here, the big thing is consistency through three periods. That's what they do well. They have an experienced team. They're fast and quick through the neutral zone and they like to score on the rush. I think we've got to manage the puck well, we've got to play well defensively and check well, but when you have opportunities to go, we've got to play fast and counter quickly and catch their forwards."

"We're at our best when we manage the puck"

ON CLOSING OUT GAMES:

"That killer instinct, you know? We've had opportunities that when they present themselves, you've got to bury it. It's a league where if you let teams hang around, they're going to find ways to stay in the game. We've got to have three solid periods. So, obviously, to do that, we've got to have a really good start and as you say, this rink is loud and it's a fun place to play. It's good energy for our guys."
