LUCIC ON HOSTING CHRISTMAS WITH TEAMMATES:

ON THE BATTLE OF ALBERTA:

"It's definitely odd that we don't play these guys after tonight. That's just how the schedule happens. ... That's just how it goes. It's obviously a huge game for both teams. Both teams are 1-1 in the series and both teams need the points, so it makes it a big game."

ON PLAY OF HIS LINE WITH HUBERDEAU & KADRI:

"It's been good. Obviously, we've been able to find chemistry right off the get-go and we all want to contribute in a big way, so I guess we've got to keep building from where we left off and have a good one here tonight."

ON BUILDING OFF ROAD TRIP:

"The road trip is still fresh in all of our minds. We did play three, four days ago and it's still fresh and we did have a players' skate yesterday, so most of the guys did skate together here yesterday, so now we've skated twice before tonight's game. Yeah, so it's still fresh in our mind that we had a successful road trip."

KADRI ON FACING THE OILERS:

"Big points. Big in terms of the standings as well. Obviously, they've got a great team. Goaltender's made some saves in the past games we've played against them and obviously their top guys, we've got to be aware of. Should be a fun one."

ON COMING OFF THE CHRISTMAS BREAK:

"The way we were playing, I don't think we wanted too much of a break. It's nice to just have a day and a half or a couple days to spent with your family. But we were rolling before. ... We like the way we've been playing. But that being said, I think we can play better."

HUBERDEAU ON UPCOMING STRETCH:

"I think we're having a lot of division games coming up, so I think that's the focus - one game at a time. Tonight's a huge game obviously and finishing the rivalry this season, last time we play them, so we've got to come out hard and it's fun to be in front of our fans, obviously."

ON RIVALRY VS. OILERS:

"It's good. You can tell, the atmosphere in the building, too. The fans are into it a little bit more with these games and we've got to come out on top."

ON CONTINUING MOMENTUM:

"That was a good road trip for us. Obviously, getting ourselves into a playoff spot and right now, keep that going. I think it's important for us to stay in a playoff spot for confidence and for our group."

ON IMPORTANCE OF STAYING IN A PLAYOFF SPOT:

"You don't want to fall back too far, because it's hard to come back at the end. Right now, we're in that spot. Obviously, you want to be Top 3 in your division, but it can come - we're still close - so, I think we've just got to keep piling up some wins and I think we'll get there."

SUTTER ON MARCH TO THE PLAYOFFS:

"Our record is very close to what it was at this time last year. The difference is - as I've said all along, and people should listen - is the division is better. Last year, Vegas was supposed to be the favourite and ran into all the (injury) trouble and now Vegas is the favourite. Seattle gets goaltending and they come along. I've said it before, five teams could make the playoffs in this division. The difference is not so much how the teams are playing, the difference is how the division is playing."
