ANDERSSON ON STICKING WITH IT:

ON GETTING THE OT WIN:

"Overtime's a possession game, we all know that. I think they had a couple tired guys out there and we managed to capitalize. It was nice to win one in overtime and now we keep building on that. Now we have a couple days off, enjoy Christmas with friends and family, and we get back to it."

ON GETTING BACK IN THE PLAYOFF PICTURE:

"We had a couple out-of-town results with us? Obviously, huge. We talked about it. Have a good road trip, which we did. To come out with three out of four and seven of eight points, it's a good trip. Now we build and we keep going. We come home and we have a tough matchup right away after the break, but as I said, let's take advantage of a couple days off and enjoy some time with friends and family."

ON HIS GOAL TO SEAL IT:

"Obviously, I don't mind it (the big moments). I feel like I've been like that sine I was a little kid. It changes quick, right? Yesterday I made a horrendous play on the overtime goal in LA. I let them play tic-tac-toe around me and they scored. It goals both ways, right? Today I scored but yesterday was probably my fault that they scored, so it goes both ways, for sure."

"It was nice to win one in overtime"

RITCHIE ON HOW THE GAME PLAYED OUT:

"It was a pretty greasy win - a lot like the other points and wins that we got. Maybe we could have had stretched it out to a two- or three-goal lead there, but it goes to the extra frame and Razzy... great shot. That's all you needed."

ON OUT-SHOOTING DUCKS 45-23:

"That happens sometimes. Hockey's a weird game and we've had some that went the other way where we score on one or two or three shots, and the next thing you know, you're in the game. You've just got to stick with it and if it takes 65 minutes, it takes 65 minutes."

ON BEING BACK IN A PLAYOFF SPOT:

"We stuck with it throughout the game, whether we had good bounces or bad bounces. Last night, for instance - we only got a point, but we could have had two there, obviously, same situation as tonight. We gave up two early ones in the third and we easily could have caved. It's just I think that's what was missing early on in the year, that ability to stick with it. You're never out of it until it's over."

ON ANDERSSON'S OT WINNER:

"We knew we needed that one, bad. You never know, it's a pretty risky game, 3-on-3 in overtime. But he's done that a couple times, made good plays in overtime for us this year, so good for him."

"If it takes 65 minutes, it takes 65 minutes"

SUTTER'S THOUGHTS ON THE WIN:

"I think 5-on-5, we controlled the game. Obviously, those kids get on the powerplay, they're pretty good."

ON OUT-SHOOTING THE DUCKS:

"When you out-chance then like that 5-on-5, you should have more than a one-goal lead. For sure."

ON ANDERSSON'S GROWTH:

"Ras plays big minutes every night. Plays against best players. He's adjusting to that part of the game, which is something he still has... Those defencemen other than Tanny are kids. You look at it, they're four or five years from being top players. Just figuring it all out. There's four of them that do that."

"Tonight was just about digging down"

ON TIMING OF THE HOLIDAY BREAK:

"You know what, this has been a grind for our team. I don't know about springboard. They need a break and tonight was just about digging down there a little bit, that's pretty clear. A lot of games. Doesn't get easier."
