DARRYL SUTTER ON CHRIS TANEV:

ON FACING THE OILERS:

"I saw the one - the 3-2 game prior to me coming that we lost here - and then coached the two games, the 4-3 game and the 7-3 game. I think just being on the bench for those two games, they split McDavid and Draisaitl up in the second game and that was a handful for us. And then they were 3-for-4 on the powerplay in that second game also, so that pretty well tells the tale of the game."

"It's a totally different mindset"

ON UPCOMING TRADE DEADLINE:

"I haven't seen it and I haven't heard one player talk about it. I think with everything that's going on with COVID and the schedule, quarantines and all that, I think it's almost irrelevant. I've been through so many of them and mostly it's a made-for-TV event or made-for-gossip event and it's not that big of deal.
"If you asked a player right now, it's part of the business. There's a salary cap, there's a season, they make lots of money and there's guys get moved because of money and guys that get moved because a team's trying to win it. And that's about it. They deal with it. It's no different than the summer when you have free agency or RFAs - it's not even a big day now. I couldn't even tell you what day it is, to tell you the truth."

ELIAS LINDHOLM ON MCDAVID/DRAISAITL:

"Obviously, they're skilled, they score a lot of points, and they're a big part of the team. For us, we've got to be aware when they're out there and stay above them all the time. Don't give them so much room. I think those games when they ran away a little bit, that's a game where we start getting away from our game plan and giving them a lot of room. We've got to stay out of the box and not give them any room."

"Sometimes it just takes one to go in"

SEAN MONAHAN ON GETTING CHANCES MONDAY:

"Sometimes, it just takes one to go in. It is what it is, You've got to work hard for your chances and work hard to score goals. Scoring goals in this league isn't easy. You've got to be around the net and when you get your chances, you've got to capitalize."
