LUCIC ON SCORING HIS FIRST OF THE YEAR:

ON GETTING THE MONKEY OFF HIS BACK:

"You want to contribute. Even if your role changes, you still play the right way and play your role, but you still want to chip in when you can. Right now, it was a great play by Lindy to find me there in the high slot. Just gained some confidence after that."

ON HIS RESPONSE AFTER BEING SCRATCHED:

"Whether you dislike or disagree with decisions that the coaches make, you have to respect them and learn from them. You take the positives out of it, reflect on it and when you get your chance to get back in the lineup, do you do what you can to be effective. That's been the mindset the last two games."

LEWIS ON LUCIC'S GOAL:

"It was awesome. He's a big part of our group and it's never fun when you can't put one in the net. He's had lots of chances and it only takes one. Hopefully the floodgates start opening for him here. But yeah, it was awesome to see him score here."

ON THE BIG NIGHT OFFENSIVELY:

"For the most part, we checked for our chances and kind of limited the odd-man rushes and turnovers. I think everyone contributed, so it was a big win for us."

LINDHOLM ON HIS QUICK TWO GOALS:

"First one was just Huby came out of the box and made a really nice pass to me. Just stayed out there and then the second one, Ras made a nice play. Probably not going to happen again, scoring two goals that quick - but I'll take it."

SUTTER ON WHY HE DRESSED 7 D:

"We dressed seven D because the predictability of our defencemen has not been very good this year. It's too bad you've got to dress seven. I thought Gilbert boy came in and did a good job again. Trying to take the stress off four guys. That's why we dressed three others."

ON BUILDING CONFIDENCE WITH BIG THIRD:

"Yeah, it always does. It's a two-goal lead in the third is better than a one-goal lead, whether when you're not a team that scores many goals. The relief would be from the guys who scored. As I said, good to see Looch score and Lindy and whoever Lindy played with tonight were really good."

ON HOW IT PLAYED OUT:

"Good to see Looch score. I think Lindy's line did some really good work. We kind of surprised them a little bit when Huberdeau came out of the penalty box on that goal."
