"I'm trying to play the way I can for them and be my best for them. They're both incredible centremen. For me, it doesn't change too much. It's easy playing with that good of players, so I'm just trying to play in the o-zone as much as I can with them to create the most o-zone time for us."

ON BACKLUND/COLEMAN PAIR:

"They're awesome, they're great. They're two veteran guys that have done a lot in this league and I can be a sponge on that line. Every single guy, they've done a lot together so far and have created really good chemistry together so far and created really good chemistry together that they're a staple to that line. It's a pleasure, whoever gets to play with them, they've done a really good job just with how responsible they are and they play the right way every night."

ON BACKLUND'S HOT START:

"He's been playing great. Even the previous years, regardless of points, he plays the right way every single night. I'm happy to see that the puck is going in the net for him, but regards of that, he's that consistent player, plays 82 games a year hard and plays the right way. It's nice to see that it is going in and he's going to keep building, for sure."

ON HOLDING ONTO THE PUCK MORE:

"I think you just play behind them, create o-zone time for my linemates. I'm trying to build every game and create some chemistry with the guys I'm with. It's what you need to do to create momentum that I was talking about a second ago, is create in the o-zone. It helps our team, not just in that shift, but for the next shift."
