CHRIS TANEV ON PUSH IN FINAL 40 MINUTES:

ON SLOW START:

"We probably gave up 10 scoring chances in the first 10 minutes. Probably should have been 5, 6-0 if Marky didn't play so well. Obviously, he gave us a chance to win and we didn't get the job done."

DARRYL SUTTER'S THOUGHTS:

"We came back in the second period, just couldn't get the tying goal. Connor's got, what, 18 or 19 goals in this rink this year, so you take a bad penalty to start the game right up the middle and that gets you in the trouble so you're chasing the lead, and don't score enough goals. When you get down two, it's tough in this building."

"We came back ... just couldn't get the tying goal"

ON EDMONTON'S PUSH:

"You try and get through the first four or five minutes and keep pace with them. We took that penalty right up the gut, that's a bad penalty, hooking penalty in the middle of the ice. You can't take that penalty. You know they were going to come with a little more jump tonight and if you give them a powerplay early, they're going to take advantage of it and they did."
