MARK GIORDANO ON FACING THE FLAMES:

Hear from former Flame Mark Giordano

SUTTER ON FLAMES' ROAD RECORD:

"The one thing about home and road is that the other team, for the most part, a lot of teams roll and match D or match centreman or match faceoffs and that sort of thing. But still, your top players - the players that play the most even-strength minutes, and last night was an anomaly because we took seven minors? That's another thing? Our defence took six and they were all just six. There were guys on the top that need to be better and guys at the front that need to be better."

ON BATTLING THE LEAFS:

"I think what Toronto, I saw it last year, too, their top players, Matthews, Marner and John (Tavares)... I think those guys have taken a whole other level in terms of their leadership. They're 'by example-type' players and it's so evident when you watch them, even last year you could see the difference in them."

"There's nothing old school about having a big heart"

KADRI ON WHAT WENT WRONG LAST NIGHT:

"I think we slowed it down too much. When we're an effective team, we pick up the pace and try to play with speed and we were just getting held up for whatever reason last game. So, also had a lot of shot attempts blocked and we have to find ways to get those in."

ON HIS CUP CELEBRATION IN LONDON:

"It was big. Something I'm certainly going to cherish and never forget. Just everybody that's kind of supported me throughout my journey and you kind of feel an obligation to pay that respect after you win, so I'm happy I got to share that with the people that are closest to me and we had a nice little party afterwards, too."

"It's a great atmosphere, great building to play in"

ANDERSSON ON THE FOCUS FOR TONIGHT:

"Just capitalizing on our opportunities, limiting scoring chances against and then we'll be fine. We did it in the homestand and last night, we gave up a little too much. Marky played really well and we had a lot of opportunities to score, we just didn't put it in the back of the net.
"We're obviously going up a really good team and it will be a fun night."

"It will be a fun night"

BACKLUND ON WHAT NEEDS TO BE BETTER:

"Pretty much everything. We gave up way too much off the rush; breakaways. If we do that tonight, it will be a different game. We've got to clean our game up. We had a good homestand, but we've got to play better on the road - our record is not good enough. We've got to play a harder, faster game on the road and we'll start picking it up."

"We know we're a good team"

ON BUILDING CONSISTENCY:

"We know how we can play. We know we're a good team, but we've got to go out and do it. We haven't done it enough on the road this year and it's time here we start playing a lot better on the road and play that high-pace game, where we're physical, hard on pucks, kill plays and play with the puck most of the night. ... We've got to dig a little deeper here on the road."
