"We know there are some big games and games that you circle on your calendar, and this being one of them. Not getting two points against Montreal the other night, that could have been a statement game. I think it's probably not fair to look at certain games and pick them out and say, 'This is a statement game' - you have to look at all of them."
ON HAVING FANS BACK FOR THE BOA:
"We've missed them the past handful of games playing them. Obviously last year, not having them at all. That's probably the best part of the rivalry. The last memories here with full fans was the goalie fight and that was probably the loudest I've ever heard the rink. But the other night against Montreal, they were awesome. Having the Montreal fans here as well made that extra special and made both fans extra loud. I'm sure the same thing will happen with Edmonton. Our fans travelled great to Colorado and made that building one of the loudest buildings I've heard. They're obviously very important to have and we're very excited to have them back."
"We can't afford to take the foot off the gas at all"
DARRYL SUTTER ON FACING THE OILERS:
"Going into the season - I've said this lots - that Vegas and Edmonton were clearly ahead of the pack in this division. On paper and the things they've done and players that they have. To get in, they're a team we have to finish ahead of."
"They're a team we're gonna have to finish ahead of"
BLAKE COLEMAN ON DEFENDING MCDAVID/DRAISAITL:
"Obviously, the guys here are pretty familiar with Connor and have seen him a lot. It's going to be a big part of our game plan to make sure we shut the big guys down. That is a big part of my game is being able to play big minutes against top lines and top players and I've pretty much done it my whole career. They're no different. "They're obviously the best of the best in this league - and in the world - and it takes a special kind of attention to play guys like that and be effective against them. "It's another good challenge, no different than what we faced on Saturday. High-end scorers that can make you pay if you're not prepared from the first shift of the game."
