DARRYL SUTTER ON CONTINUING MOMENTUM:

ON UPCOMING SCHEDULE:

The Flames have seven games in their next 11 days, including a five-in-seven stretch that begins on Monday
"It's a measurement for us because you're going to need depth. You're not going to get away forwards playing 20-plus minutes and defencemen playing 26. You're going to have to get some balance in there, which means you're going to need some performance out of the depth of your team, for sure."

ON MONTREAL'S TOP LINE:

Cole Caufield, Nick Suzuki and Josh Anderson have combined for 20 points in the past five games, which includes Anderson's first-career hat trick on Tuesday
"When we play against hot lines, that's what the season is about. You're always looking at lines that are hot and as a team... It's different, it's another part of how the game has changed. If you have a top D man that would go against a top line, or a top centre that would go against a top line, in terms of the checking part. But our team is set up a little different. We have to team-check and put an onus on that, and at the same time, make sure they're not in a position to make it 5-on-4."

"Our crowd has been awesome"

CHRIS TANEV ON SUTTER:

Tomorrow is the one-year anniversary of Sutter being brought back as head coach
"I think it's changed dramatically. Every day is a new day and every day is a new day to win, and every day is a new day to get better. Darryl reinforces everything that we need to do to be a good team and how we need to play to be a good team. He does that well and we need to execute and follow the game plan."

MIKAEL BACKLUND ON FACING THE HABS:

"They've played better (under Martin St. Louis). I haven't watched a lot of their games; I don't watch a ton of games, overall. But they seem to play a little (looser), they've started winning and have a little more confidence. They have a lot of good players there and play fast. They seem to be more in sync based on the highlights I've seen."

"We want to play with the puck, that's our goal"
