Tonight's game marks the first time Johnny Gaudreau will face off against the organization that drafted him with the 104th overall pick back in 2011.
It will no doubt be a memorable night for Gaudreau, who spoke about what the game will mean to him:

ON TONIGHT'S TILT AT NATIONWIDE ARENA:

"I look forward to it. I get to play against some old teammates, some really good friends over there, get to see a lot of familiar faces around the organization. It's great."

"Played for a long time with a lot of those guys"

ON HOSTING FORMER TEAMMATES FOR DINNER:

"It was great. I played with a lot of those guys for a long time. Just to get to sit down, have a nice little dinner with them - they came over to hang out, got to meet my daughter and everything. It was special."

ON THE EMOTIONS SURROUNDING GAME:

"Yeah, obviously it brings back so many memories. I was a part of the organization for 11 years and played with a few of those guys over there for a really long time. It's great to see them, spend some time with them but it's a big game for us and we want to get back on the right track."

ON EXPECTING CHIRPS FROM FORMER TEAMMATES:

"I'm sure I'll hear it from a lot of the guys. Probably Rassy (Rasmus Andersson), he's the one that talks the most. I loved all those guys over there, we were a close group last year. We had a special year last year. It's going to be exciting to play against them."

ON MATTHEW PHILLIPS BEING RECALLED BY FLAMES:

"I remember seeing him at camp all the time. He's a great kid, a really smart and talented player. I hear he's having a good year in the American League so to be called up, I'm sure he's excited. I wish him the best because he's a great kid and I loved coming to training camp with him."
