Kadri on breaking out offensively:

“Just continuing to do the same thing. ... I'm getting lots of opportunities, lots of looks. And when they come, they're going to come.

“I'm looking to get better at anything I can. Versatility, play all over the ice. Just try and release that puck a little quicker and see if you can catch goalies by surprise.

“I'm used to fighting that adversity. I think experience comes a long way with that. Like you mentioned, I've gone through a few of these throughout my career and I know exactly how to get out of it - it's just a matter of time. For me, my work ethic is never going to change. I'm going to continue to push through. I've had streaks where you go cold and some streaks where you feel like the puck's following you and you get a couple goals in a couple games and you're off to the races. I'm just trying to look forward to that.”

Solovyov on potentially making his NHL debut tonight:

“I'm super excited. Yesterday, when I (found out) about it, the head coach from the Wranglers told me. He could tell I was super excited. My family was excited too. It's a moment that each player waits a long, long time (for). Today is a big day for me.”

Huberdeau on getting back in the win column:

“I think it's important for us to find the rhythm for us as a team and to play consistently. I think that's what we want to do and it has to start tonight. ... I think at home we've got to take advantage of that and get our fans back in it and have a good atmosphere.

“It starts from us. The guys in the room. It starts with the leaders and guys have got to show off and (our teammates) have to follow us. For all of us, I think we've got to give more. I think it's more like - battling for each other, play with each other, for each other. That's what we have to do. It starts in the room. Preparation. It's going to translate on the ice.”

Huska on Solovyov:

“It's exciting for him. Any time a guy plays his first game, everybody's happy and emotional for the guy. It's a great thing. What I like about it is that he's kind of worked his game the last number of years to the point where he's a legitimate defenceman now that's a bigger guy that's harder to play against and he's a strong man. But the best part about him is how his teammates talk about him and seeing him in the dressing room this morning, you love to see the smile on his face. It's special for him.”

On what he wants to see from him:

“Keep it simple. Keep your game simple, like we've always asked of him to do and really to embrace and enjoy the moment.”

On Solovyov’s personality:

“He's a good man that understands the importance of being a good teammate. And what I mean by that is that he's a guy that will block shots, he'll move the puck quick, he understands his role now. Is he going to make mistakes? Sure, he's going to make mistakes. He's growing and he's learning along the way. Off the ice, the energy, the emotion and the smile he brings, it's infectious, for sure.”

On Ruzicka’s status:

“He won't play tonight. He's got a shoulder injury that I guess we can term as day-to-day.”
