DARRYL SUTTER ON SAM BENNETT:

ON SHOT VOLUME:

"The way Montreal plays, since they made the coaching change, they've got five guys in a group all the time, it's hard to get pucks through. We had a lot of blocks, too, but we've talked a lot about shot volume, to be honest. We don't have guys that are going to take over a game offensively like other guys in the division. More pucks to the net and hitting the net as much as possible is better. Very simply, it's the percentages. What is Johnny, a 20% shooting rate? But he has only 40 shots. More volume, more shots, more second and third opportunities."

BENNETT ON HIS MULTI-POINT GAME THURSDAY:

"I felt good. I was playing on the fourth line, but we didn't play like a normal fourth line. (Sutter) really rolled all the lines and got everyone involved. That definitely makes it easier to get involved the game. I was on the PK, getting a few shifts and getting more comfortable there. That's good for my confidence. I'm excited and I'm having fun and I'm looking forward to keeping it going."

ON SUTTER AND EXPECTATIONS:

"I've had a bunch of discussions with Darryl. He's really good at communicating with me and I definitely know what he wants from me, and I'm definitely going to be taking on a bigger role. That's what I want and I'm looking forward to it."

ON ROLLING FOUR LINES:

"It's amazing how much it helps when you're rolling all the lines and you're not sitting on the bench for an extended period of time. It helps everyone. It helps our team play at a higher pace, all four lines can roll, we're all fresh and all involved in the game. If you can - obviously, when there's more penalties and special teams, it's not going to be that spread out like it was last night, but the more you can spread out the ice time, the easier it is for everyone to get involved in the game."

MILAN LUCIC ON FIGHT WITH JOSH ANDERSON:

"When you play the same teams over and over again, those things (are) bound to happen. That's probably why. The games mean so much as far as trying to win the games and move up in the standings and every game is a divisional game, so that adds to it as well. … I've always gotten energy from it. I've never been the one to shy away from it, so yeah, it energizes me as much as it does everyone else."
