NOAH HANIFIN ON TRUST FROM THE COACHES

ON GROWTH IN HIS GAME THIS YEAR:

"I definitely feel confident. I feel I've been trying to build different areas of my game for a long time now. Last year, I felt a took a little bit of a step in my game playing with Chris. ... This year, being able to play against top guys and having team success. Obviously, a lot of individual success goes to the team and how we've played this year, but being able to be in those situations has given me a lot of confidence and I'm excited and ready for this next step."

BLAKE COLEMAN ON PLAYOFF EXPERIENCE:

"I'm in a group of a handful of guys on this team that have been through the playoff experience and have had success in the playoffs and (understand) how you need to play going into it. I'm more of a sounding board. Obviously, there are going to be times when there are rough patches in the next couple weeks here, and you need guys that have been through it and understand. It's just part of the journey and you've got to stay calm and things like that, and just get back on track.
"I'm not the only guy that's won a Cup in here and have been through deep runs in the playoffs. We've got a handful of guys, which is great. That gives you a lot of voices to be heard in the room that guys that maybe haven't had the experience can lean on and really understand what it takes to win this time of year. As far as my role, I don't know if it changes much. It's what I've tried to bring all year - obviously, at this time of year, the experience portion of who I am starts to come into play."

DARRYL SUTTER ON ROAD SUCCESS THIS YEAR:

"You have to have a collective agreement to how you want to play. Your top players think they can play one way and your checkers play one way (doesn't work). I think everybody has to play the same way. That is the advantage of the home team. The way the league is now, it's not so much lines vs. lines. The old days, things like that, it's more of a defenceman against a forward - that type of thing. That's a big change in the game. So, you have to be able to play everybody, 5-on-5. That's very important. If you can't... Especially this year, if you look at our team, the disparity in goals for and against as a team. But then as players, the disparity - minus players, those are the guys that struggle with matchups and they're tough guys to have in your lineup."

ON THE VERGE OF 700 WINS:

"Not many guys. How old is the league? Coaches are judged on three things: Stanley Cups, wins, playoffs. That's, at the end of the day, what counts."
