TYLER TOFFOLI ON FIRST DAY AT THE 'DOME:

ON SKATING WITH DUBE & MONAHAN:

"At the end of the day, with me coming in, it's about going out there and playing, and talking as much as possible on the ice to make things easier. We'll see how everything goes and hopefully we can be successful and keep this thing rolling here."

ON NEWS OF THE TRADE:

"I think it's been a little bit easier (after getting traded before), but at the same time, it's still a change. There are still those little things I have to be worrying about with places to live and where I was living in Montreal. All those things are a factor, but at the same time, it's a business and I'm here to work and I'm here to win."

ON LEARNING FROM SUTTER:

"He was obviously my first coach in the NHL, so in order to earn his trust and become a full-time player, I had to do everything right and I'm sure Lew (Trevor Lewis) would say the exact same thing. If you want the minutes, you need to play the right way and I did that for him and I've had a pretty good career since then."

"It didn't feel like a new team that much"

LEWIS ON TOFFOLI'S ADDITION:

"Obviously, he's a great player. He's won before, he's been on some good teams. He plays the right way and it's not just about scoring for him. He plays in all situations, PK, really good on the walls and good hockey sense. He's a great player and we're excited to have him."

ON WINNING THE CUP TOGETHER:

"He set up the game-winner there for (Alec) Martinez. Obviously, he's a shooter, he shot the puck and we scored. Those are the memories I have and what I think of him."

ON CURRENT WINNING STREAK:

"It's good. I think we set the foundation early in the year and when we play like that, we're a hard team to play against and that's how we want to be for teams coming in here. I think we've done a good job of that so far."

ON COMPARISONS TO CUP-WINNING KINGS:

"I guess a little bit (similar) from a structure standpoint and everyone buying in and stuff like that. But obviously it's a lot different players and a lot different group, but everyone's player for each other right now and when we stick to that structure and we play fast and are hard on teams, it's when we're having success."

"I expect him to play really well"

DARRYL SUTTER ON WELCOMING NEW PLAYERS:

"I think the transition of it. Making sure that you understand what type of player or players they are and how they fit in. The reason you acquire them is so they would fit in. And also, really important and something we talked about last summer is (getting) good people. Really important."
