COLEMAN ON PLAYING CAREER GAME #400:

Blake Coleman on playing his 400th career game

GILBERT ON OPPORTUNITY WITH THE BIG CLUB:

"The more you get to meet people - the comfort with the players, support staff, it makes it a lot easier this second time around.
"I think that someone in my position, the name of the game is consistency and showing that maturity through lessons learned of years past through (different) organizations. You have to approach every day like it could be your last, so your preparation is there. You're always excited, you know what the drills are, you're always ready to go. You can't relax for a second. That's something I learned from 22 to now."

ON PHYSICALITY IN HIS GAME:

"Yeah, there's always been a bit of that there (laughs). Just try to provide energy and be a positive space on the ice in the room for the guys. Whether that's physicality or fighting a little bit here and there, I think that's all good stuff and important."

ON FRIEND CHAD KELLY WINNING THE GREY CUP:

Gilbert was the backup (and eventual successor) to the now-Argos QB when the two played high-school football in Buffalo.
"I was super excited for him. I saw his Instagram Live yesterday. It seems like they're having a good time - well deserved on the championship. So, shout-out to Chad and Toronto, and congratulations."

"The name of the game is consistency"

ZADOROV ON TRUST FROM DARRYL:

"When you get a coach for two years who's winning the Jack Adams, he knows from making decent players into good players, I think that definitely helps. It didn't start well because I just wasn't that player for him (that I am) now. It took me a little bit of time to figure out how to work with him, how to play his system, what he wants to see on the ice from me. That's definitely the case. It takes time, how you respond to what the coach wants you to see, and that was a big thing for me."

RUZICKA ON TOP-LINE SUCCESS:

"Confidence is a big thing in this league, so I hope we can build on it.
"Every day is learning. Even if you're 30, even if you're 23 - so, it doesn't matter, you've got to build (confidence) every day."

"Confidence is a big thing in this league"

LINDHOLM ON RUZICKA & TOFFOLI:

"It's good. Playing with Toff the whole season now and Adam coming in, playing with a lot of confidence. He's still young, but he's playing well out there - playing with a lot of confidence and is making plays. We've been playing pretty well, so we've just got to keep building."

ON HIS HOT PLAY OF LATE:

"I think I was just thinking too much out there. My game is good when I don't try to think too much, and just try to work hard and keep it simple and had to get back to that. Just try not to think too much out there and the plays will come. When you get the confidence back, you start playing better and making more plays. It was just, kind of, get back to basics."

"He's playing well out there"

SUTTER ON GAME 3 OF SIX-GAME TRIP:

"You're playing the same types of teams until the end of the trip here. Teams that grind it out and bang and play that type of game, and you have to have players that play that way, too. So, that would be a carry-over."

ON PLAYING IN ONE-GOAL GAMES:

"If you want to make the playoffs, you better get comfortable being uncomfortable."

"You better get comfortable being uncomfortable"

ON THE PK:

"The penalty-kill has to get better. The last few weeks, we've allowed too many goals. So, you break it down into weeks or trips or stands or whatever, our penalty-kill has to get better. It's not on one player, it's on the goalie, everybody, right? You look at the last seven games, we're just even in penalties - which is about right at three a game. But the penalty-kill has to get better."

ON STATUS OF BRETT RITCHIE:

"He got double injured (in Florida). So, he's got two minor injuries that don't allow him to skate today. ... He won't play today."
