DARRYL SUTTER ON THE PLAYOFF PUSH:

ON PLAYING IN CLOSE GAMES:

"You HAVE to be comfortable playing in tight, low-scoring games. That's a fact. And if you have two or three guys that aren't, then it sticks out. It does. You can say WE'RE comfortable doing that, but that doesn't mean there's 20 of us."

"You have to be comfortable in tight games"

MILAN LUCIC ON LAST NIGHT'S GAME:

"Buffalo played a really good game against us. It felt like we were just chasing the puck all night long. They took away our puck possession and all that type of stuff. Honestly, we didn't work hard enough to create like we have all season long. For us, this... It wasn't a very good game for us, and sometimes when you have those games, it's nice to get into a back-to-back situation where you're playing right away again. Like I said: Wasn't a good game, wasn't a good effort. Thankfully, Marky made some big saves to get us a point out of it, but we've got to focus on Vancouver now."

ON REBOUNDING IN VANCOUVER TONIGHT:

"Those are the things you can control. You can control your effort; you can control your work ethic and all that type of stuff. That's got to go up, not just one notch - but a couple of notches here tonight against a Vancouver team who we didn't have a good game against last time we were here."

ON LAST MEETING WITH CANUCKS:

"Obviously, you remember it. You remember a loss like that, always. Divisional game, western-Canada rivalry game. Hockey Night in Canada, Saturday night, it sets up for a good one."

"You can control your effort"

MANGIAPANE ON CHEM WITH JARNKROK & TOFFOLI:

"I thought as the game kept going, we were building confidence and building some chemistry together. Obviously, it's tough just trying to read off each other, and early on we were being a bit too complicated. But as the game went along, I think we started keeping it (simpler) and playing together as five. It's good to see. We've just got to keep building off last night."

ON LAST VISIT TO VANCOUVER:

"We didn't have a good game in Vancouver last time, so definitely, I think it's a big game for us coming off yesterday's loss and the way we played last time. I think we're due for a good game and due for a game where we need to be hard, need to compete and play with emotion."

"We're a good team, we know that"

ON HAVING A BOUNCE-BACK EFFORT:

"Obviously, I don't think we were too happy with how we kind of played (last night). We did some good things, but obviously I don't think we were playing our game and up to our calibre there. It was a close game. But yeah, I think we've got to be closer together, play as five, be quicker - that's when we're at our best.
"Just put that one behind us and focus on Vancouver tonight and get back to our game. We're a good team, we know that, and we've just got to play with confidence and we'll be OK."
