DUSTIN WOLF ON GETTING CALLED UP:

ON WHAT HE'S EXPECTING OF HIS FIRST NHL STINT:

"I think it's just taking everything day by day. Obviously, my priority has been in Stockton, getting wins down there and giving the team a chance to win every night. I'm finding some success down there. I think it's going to come around sometime, but that's my main focus, just do my job down there. Very fortunate to be called up and to be here today. Taking it a day at a time."

ON LEARNING FROM JACOB MARKSTROM:

"He comes to the rink every day and he wants to get better, wants to give the team a chance to win," Wolf said of his mentor. He's a tremendous competitor out there, has such a big frame, but moves like he's a smaller guy. … Taking his work ethic and trying to add little things like that, there's a big reason why he's had so much success this year and throughout this career. Just being able to be around a guy like that does wonders."

"It's pretty special"

BLAKE COLEMAN ON A GOOD WEEK OF PRACTICE:

"It was big. I think it's beneficial to us. I think the first couple days, inevitably there are going to be guys who are sluggish and tired coming off sickness and coming off - I don't know if it was as much the sickness, or the break itself. You go from high intensity skating and training to nothing, and you can't replicate a game. It was good to get those days of practice. ... There's no excuse for us not to be firing on all cylinders tonight."

"There's no excuse for us"

ON HIS VIRAL HAIR MOMENT OVER THE HOLIDAYS:

"Yeah, you've never heard of the new treatment? Everyone's doing it. We were up in the spa there at the hotel and just realized five seconds into standing up out of the water that my hair was getting nice and crispy. I could snap the pieces off. I thought that was maybe the end of my flow, but fortunately it stayed on. Just a fluky thing. An example of just getting the mental reset, getting your mind away from hockey a little bit and enjoying the holiday with family a little bit. Just one of the goofier things that happened, but it was a nice reset."

DARRYL SUTTER ON EXCITEMENT FOR TONIGHT'S GAME:

"What is it 18 or 19 days (between games)? The game is not going to be perfect in terms of execution, but you have to rely on make sure that we have four lines and six D and good goaltending. Very simple."

ON WOLF'S RECALL:

"He's 14-0-2. Goalies are just like coaches - they're measured on their record. He's a good goalie."

"He's a good goalie"

ON WHY VLADAR ISN'T ON THE TRIP:

"Because he's not ready to play games. That's part of the COVID thing. Everybody reacts different. Vladdy just game out of COVID (protocol), had a couple days of practice and wasn't ready to play games. So, he stays home."
