GEOFF WARD ON JACOB MARKSTROM:

JUUSO VALIMAKI ON HOME ICE WITH NO FANS:

"You get energy from the fans, especially when they're on your side they can give you a lot of positive energy. But I guess on the other side, when you're on the road, there are no fans booing you. It kind of goes both ways. It's changed a little bit, it's not as big of an advantage, but the other things, you don't have to travel, you're at home, you're not sitting in a hotel room - all that stuff is still to your advantage. You have to think that way, that it's a home stand, that it's your building and you want to play your best hockey."

JOHNNY GAUDREAU ON FACING THE SENS:

"We're ready. We don't really go into any game not being ready. You win some, you lose some, but we're all ready. We have a team that works hard and they worked really hard last game, so we've got to match their intensity. come out, work hard in the first and go from there."

ARE THE SENS CATCHING PEOPLE OFF GUARD?

"For me, personally, no. I knew from watching their games throughout the year, they work hard. That's the bottom line. They get pucks in deep, they forecheck hard, they backcheck hard and they play the game hard. We just need to match them. We have enough skill on our team. You work hard and the skill is going to come and the offence is going to come."
