JOHNNY GAUDREAU ON GOAL-SCORING:

ON IMPORTANCE OF CONFIDENCE:

"When you're feeling it, the puck's going in the net for you, it feels like every shot you take, it's finding the net. When it's not going for you, you're fighting the puck - or, if you do get good looks, they're not going in. Right now, personally, I'm getting the looks, I feel comfortable on the ice and I feel like I've got a lot of momentum on my side right now, so I'm trying to keep that going. But, you know, it's a long season and you go through ups and downs throughout the year, and you need all 20 players to play well on the ice, every single game. When I'm not playing my best, or not finding the net and getting my chances, hopefully there's another player that's feeling it and going through the same thing I'm going through right now."

GEOFF WARD ON GAUDREAU'S GAME:

"He shoots the puck pretty well. I think he's just getting better looks. When you're getting looks inside the scoring area, everybody encourages each other to shoot. He's getting better looks off rushes and in the offensive zone, and he's shooting the puck."

ON PLAN FOR THE GOALIES:

"We talk about it. Now we're getting to a point in the schedule where we're playing a lot, so we're going to start using Ritter a lot more than what he's played already. We'll go on a week-by-week basis and sort of map out what the potential schedule is going to look like for them, and then, of course, it's all subject to various things. ... We're going to have a plan in place for those guys so they know what their week is going to look like and we'll take it from there."

ON MATTHEW TKACHUK'S PLAY:

"He's an emotional player, and one of the big strengths of his play is that he's an emotional leader and drags others into the fight quite a bit. He plays on the edge and you don't want to temper that too much. That's a strength of his. ... He's an important part of our team, he's a leader on our team, and he's doing to go what he needs to do to be effective for us."
