DARRYL SUTTER ON MANAGING THE SCHEDULE:

ON FACING THE SENS:

"If that's the public's standpoint that they work hard and are hard to play against, then their opponent should be able to also. It's not that difficult to figure it out."

ON HEAD-TO-HEAD MEETINGS THIS YEAR:

"I haven't been with this group. I'm not really too focused on that. If you're just focused on what they've done in the first 30 games, then we can just stay with that and be a 4 to .500 hockey club. We're not that. We're playing better hockey than that, and I assume tonight we will, too."

"To me, it's more the preparation part"

DILLON DUBE ON HOW TO BEAT OTTAWA TONIGHT:

"I think just quick hockey. When we're moving the puck, we're quick in the neutral zone, we're able to hem teams in their own end. A lot of it starts with our puck movement off the start of the game and being able to carry that momentum. It's that simplicity that we need to bring with the effort. Our skill-set will come out when we're able to do that, but if we can get that start with fast, hard hockey, it will work in our favour."

ON LEARNING FROM PAST GAMES:

"Even games you win, games you lose, you look back on them regardless and pick out things that we can try and do better. We're always trying to get better for next game and try to get ready for our next opponent. We need to take things from other guys, the stuff that we do, our habits, and to be able to watch them and see what we need to do a little bit better, it helps us out. Regardless of the game, we're going over it and making sure we can improve and become our best each and every day throughout practices and (it) leads into games. We just really need to study what we need to work on."

ON HIS GAME:

"I just think I needed to be better (on Saturday). I don't think I was ready to go right off the start and, for sure, to win against a Toronto team that's top in our division, everyone needs to be going and I wasn't. We need better starts from me and to be able to carry that through the whole game."

"I think we've come together more as a team"

ON ACCOUNTABILITY ON SUTTER:

"It's been good. That's what we need, honestly, to hold each other to a higher standard. I think we owe that to each other and guys have to bring their best game every night, Especially in a shortened season. So, being able to do that, and guys being really being determined with each other and holding each other to a higher standard has been good so far. It's exciting to go out there and play when you're leaning on other guys. It's not just on yourself - you're leaning on guys to be good, your linemates, to be good. The group of five, group of six out on the ice, it's been a lot of fun playing with each guy."
