MATTHEW TKACHUK ON LAST NIGHT'S WIN:

ON THE PK:

"I think that's the one that sticks out the most right now. In a tie game, under five minutes left, obviously have all the momentum that has one of those recipes for disaster, when you have a little momentum and they can squeak one out on the powerplay to win it. I thought our penalty kill did an unbelievable job. Not only killed it off, but gained momentum for us as well - Shilly coming out of the box to put home that great passing play. But they didn't give them anything last night on the powerplay, so they definitely won us that game, for sure."

JOHNNY GAUDREAU ON BUILDING OFF LAST NIGHT:

"I think we stuck with it. We came out hard in the third, had some good looks. Didn't score on any of them and then stuck with it, found a way to score towards the end of the period and get a big win."

ON HIS 106-POINT PACE:

"Playing with good players. Players that are making me better throughout the season and we're playing well. Our team is playing well, it's one of the most important things and just try to keep doing what you're doing to help your team win games not focus on that type of stuff."

ON UPCOMING ALL-STAR GAME:

"As long as I'm not doing the fastest skater, I'll be fine with doing whatever skills they want me to do."
