JOHNNY GAUDREAU ON LOSS:

"It's unfortunate. We got away with one on the goalie interference and almost got away with another on the offside. It sucks. They tied it late, but (we) had a couple good scoring chances in overtime, didn't find the net. Just a bad break for our team. Guy breaks his stick in the D zone, we get stuck out there for 45 seconds and were gassed. ... Just put it behind us and move on to the next game."

"It sucks - tough break"

SEAN MONAHAN ON MOVING ON:

"I thought we competed hard. I thought it was one of our better games in the series. Special teams were good. At the end of the day, the team played together here and you win and lose together. We've got to re-group for Game 5."

"Anytime you lose, it sucks,"

SAM BENNETT ON GAME 5:

"Just short memory. Like Gio said, we have to take what we can and move on. It's 2-2. It's two good teams going at it. This is playoffs and it's exciting hockey. We're not going to dwell on it. Obviously, we would have liked to win that and go up 3-1, but at 2-2, we're in a pretty good situation here."

"It's tough to lose no matter which way you lose"

ON HIS BIG NIGHT:

"It's definitely good for personal confidence, I think. I'm just trying to do whatever I can to help this team win. If it's making hits or scoring goals, it doesn't matter to me. I just want to do whatever I can to help this team. It obviously would have felt a bit better if we got the W."

MARK GIORDANO ON HEADING INTO OT:

"The message was we have to move on, and next goal wins. I thought the guys were great. There was excitement in our room still. ... We came out with a lot of energy, but again, it was a back-and-forth game and unfortunately at the end there, they capitalized on an opportunity."

COACH GEOFF WARD ON ALL THE PENALTIES:

"We were killing a lot of penalties. That's the one thing we need to take a serious look at. Our discipline needs to be better. I looked at all the calls and they were calls. ... The fact is that we can't be putting ourselves short-handed this many times. That's a big lesson we have to take out of this game, is that we have to be way more disciplined. ... At the same point in time, it takes the momentum out of the rest of your game. For me. that's the the one thing where we need to better on Tuesday in Game 5."

"This is the beauty of playoffs"

ON LOOKING FORWARD:

"We've got nothing to be ashamed of. Both special teams were good, but I would like to see our penalty kill on the ice a lot less than we were. I thought we played a solid hockey game. For us, the same as usual - take what we need out of the game, and there's a lot we can take from tonight's game. Now, we re-group, rest, and get our heads in the right place to come back and play Game 5."

ON GUT CHECK:

"Absolutely. But I think we found out some good things about our charater to this point. Now, it comes down to a best of three. This is the beauty of playoffs. It's two teams going at it and we're sawed off after four games. It's the way the game should be. These are the games everyone wants to play as a young kid; imagining being in games that matter at this time of year. This is awesome. We can hardly wait to get to Game 5."

ON PLAY OF BENNETT:

"I think he just relishes this time of year. he was our best player last year in the playoffs. ... I think he enjoys being back at centre. He was on the wing for a while, but he's back at the position he grew up playing and is comfortable there, he's the type of guy that looks forward to the type of game that the playoffs offer. ... that line has been real good for us. all those guys at different points in time have been real drivers for us, so the combination has been good. ... He seems to consistently put good performances out there at playoff time."

"Just have to regroup - best of three now"
