SUTTER ON FACING THE JETS:

ON WINNIPEG'S RASH OF INJURIES:

"The key guy (Mark Scheifele) is having a career year again. Back to his numbers. If you look at it, goals against, save percentage, special teams, they're right at the top. The year is always about guys going in and out. We've done it. Everybody has to go through it, but the key guys have to step up, still."

ON STATUS OF BRETT RITCHIE:

"I was with him on Sunday. He came in for treatment on that day, Sunday, and then yesterday he worked out again. He wasn't able to see a specialist because of the way the holiday went. He'll see him today. He made progress, so that's good."

ON ZOHORNA'S PLACE IN THE LINEUP:

"I think Zohorna's a better centreman. I watched him in the American League and watched him with (Pittsburgh Penguins affiliate) Wilks-Barre on tape. I think he's a better centreman than a winger. And Rosy (Adam Ruzicka) has adjusted well there, so we've been able to move him around."

"Every game is different"

ZOHORNA ON HOW HIS SEASON HAS GONE:

"It's been a big rollercoaster for me, especially for my confidence. My body, when I got called up here, I think I played good the first few games, and then I was sick, so I was playing sick for a few games. It was hard. I couldn't eat and hopefully I'm back good now."

ON WHAT HE NEEDS TO DO TONIGHT:

"I think I need to play fast, skate well and go to the net and get a couple shots and hopefully a goal. ... I'm not nervous. That's how I was the first few years. I think I've got a lot of experience right now."

"I think I need to play a fast game"

DUBE ON TONIGHT'S BATTLE IN WINNIPEG:

"They're going to play fast. They're a good team off the rush and they've got big guys who play the right way, so it's going to be a hard-fought game for us. They're playing the right way and they've had a really good year so far, it's going to be a lot different than the last time we played them."

ON CONNOR BEDARD'S OT WINNER AT THE WJC:

"He's like my favourite player, already. That was crazy. It was crazy to see. Playing in that tournament, regardless of what team you play, every team is a good challenge. Obviously, it's a knock-out game, but for them to get that win, it's really important because if they get to a situation like that and every elimination game, now they know how to win and how to find that. I didn't know about the 3-on-3, but regardless, it's really important to get that win, so it's good to see."

ANY BETS ON THE LINE?

"Nah. I went out for dinner with the Swedes. Whenever (Canada) plays the Swedes, that will be the big day. We've got too many of them."

"It was crazy to see, I think"

ANDERSSON ON RECENT 5-1-1 STRETCH:

"Every game in your division is important - and in your conference, too. We're playing a good team that's off to a good start. They have a lot of good, skilled players and it's going to be a tough challenge tonight, but if we keep playing like we have lately, we're going to fine. Stick to our system, stick to our game plan and try to shut down their top guys.
"Now we've got a little bit more confidence in the group and it's a tough challenge tonight. They play an aggressive game and they've been really good at home today, so it's going to be a fun one."

HANIFIN ON PAIR WITH ANDERSSON:

"I think we both have to read off each other and both of us are good skaters, that's probably our strongest asset. For sure, when he's jumping up in the play, I'm trying to cover for him. And there are times when I want to get up in the play and he'll cover for me. We have a good balance between the balance the two of us and that just comes with good chemistry."

LEWIS ON SUCCESS IN ONE-GOAL GAMES:

"It's big. You get up a goal or two, you've got to keep playing the right way and sometimes we've gotten away from that. That's when we've been unsuccessful. But I think if we stick to our game-plan for a full 60, I think we're a really good team."

"We're fighting for position, for sure"
