ON MEMORIES IN CALGARY:

ON VIDEO TRIBUTE/SALUTE FROM FANS TONIGHT:

"It means a lot. I came in here pretty young guy, not knowing too much about what the NHL is about, the city obviously. I felt that every night I played, I put in as much as I (could) into the game, and I think the fans respect that and really showed me support over the years. It's been nothing but people being great to you in the city of Calgary."

ON PLAYING THE FLAMES TWICE ALREADY:

"It's very similar. It's always going to feel a bit weird coming in on the other side after being here for so long, but I was happy to get a couple games - I got the preseason one, and I got the one in Seattle. Tonight, it will be pretty special for me to play in front of the fans here again."

ON BEING SPOTTED BY FANS LAST NIGHT:

"There were a couple. I went out with a few of the guys for dinner and there were a couple people saying 'good job' to the boys. I had to remind them that I wasn't on the team anymore. People, again, like it's always been here in the city, very respectful. They acknowledge, they recognize who are you but give you your space and it was the same last night for dinner."

ON SEEING THE FLAMES HAVE SUCCESS:

"They're having a great year. There are mixed emotions both ways, but seeing some of the individual performances they're having this year is pretty cool. A lot of those guys are my close friends, so I'm happy to see (that) for sure."

ON HIS YEAR SO FAR:

"I feel really good physically. It's been a good year as far feeling good out of the ice. Obviously, as you get older, you're trying to keep your speed and keep the pace - little adjustments, probably, you have to make like moving pucks quicker and picking your spots better jumping in. But I feel pretty good and I feel like I play a pretty big role, still, on the team. I feel good about that."
