Rasmus Andersson on keys to success against the Pens tonight:

“Play our style of hockey, work for 60 minutes, play above their skill and take away time and space from their skill. We all know what kind of team they have over there and (they have) players that have been playing at a high level for a long time. Just stay above their skill and make them work all night.”

On the defencemen ‘stepping up’ more to support the offence:

“We switched a few things up. We stay more aggressive as a team and I think we're just playing harder working a little harder, too, and that means that us d-men can stay up. We get to spend more time in the fun zone.”

Connor Zary on facing Crosby and the Penguins:

“We know what they bring and the amount of skill they have and how they play. But at the end of the day, it's up to what we do, how we stick to our system and what we did in the first five games - even if it wasn't there totally in the last game. But stick to what we've been having success with and that's what's going to lead to success for us.”

On his start to the season:

“I feel great. I wanted to come into the season and I had a lot of prove and I think you build that confidence throughout the summer, and what you put in is what you're going to get out of it. I think, for me, it's coming in here, trying to make an impression, trying to do what I can do and keep rolling off that wave.”

"We know what they bring"

Head Coach Ryan Huska on the team’s depth scoring:

“I don't think it's just the scoring part of it. That's a bonus, for sure. But I think the players are good - and 'content' isn't the word right - about playing the same way. For a coaching staff, that's what we look for. We want them to be very consistent in their approach as to how they play the game, because we feel like that will lead to offensive opportunities.”

On Anthony Mantha playing in his 500th game tonight:

“He's been good for us. I like the way he protects pucks. When he's moving his feet and he's on the puck, he's a hard guy to take the puck from because he's a big man. You look at 500 games tonight, it's not an easy league to play in, so I'm always impressed with guys that are able to get to those milestones. We're excited for him and usually on a night like this one, too, you usually get the best out of a player, so we're looking forward to seeing that out of him tonight, too.”
