MATTHEW TKACHUK ON INCREDIBLE CROWD:

ON HIS CRAZY BETWEEN-THE-LEGS GOAL:

"I wasn't really thinking there. Just happened. I was just in an awkward position backing up into the goalie, couldn't really stop my momentum. Thought that was the best way to go about it. I don't know. Still fun to see it go in the net."

ON MARKSTROM'S BIG GLOVE SAVE:

"I had the best seat in the house for that one. I thought that was in. It wasn't the only one that he made that was a robbery one. He can obviously make those saves, but it's the ones that are hard that he makes look so easy and he's been doing that every night for us. ... It's because of him, and I thought the guys - other than a couple times giving up a couple chances - played pretty solid in front of him. But he's always there to bail us out and he's bailed me out a ton this year as well."

"He does all that kind of stuff in practice as well"

JACOB MARKSTROM ON TKACHUK'S SLICK TALLY:

"He does all that kind of stuff in practice as well. Never works in practice, though. It's fun to see, obviously. Great to get the crowd involved. We had way too many OT losses at home and we needed a win (to) get the Saddledome buzzing a little bit and get the crowd going. Great to do it Saturday night."

ON RECORDING FOURTH SHUTOUT IN NINE GAMES:

"I think it says a lot more about the team than the way we're playing. Really defensively sound. Guys are blocking shots, not only the penalty kill, but 5-on-5. Our special teams were great again today. early, that was the difference. ... Guys are playing great."

ON 'JUICE' IN THE BUILDING:

"It was fun. It's always fun to play at home and personally, I haven't played my best here and would have wanted a couple extra wins at home and we got a big one tonight and the rink was buzzing and it was fun to see."

DARRYL SUTTER ON ROCKING THE 'DOME:

"We need our building to be loud. That's important. ... When you play that hard and I've said it all along, I know what our fans want. They want hard-working honesty. And they have hard-working honesty. That resonates with them."

Coach's thoughts on big victory over Rangers

ON TKACHUK'S BIG NIGHT:

"I think Matthew has been really solid, quite honest. He wanted to get his game back and I think he had five goals coming into tonight and just made a difference in our team, for sure. I give him full marks tonight because his line struggled the last game and he took it on tonight and carried the line, for sure."
