JOHNNY GAUDREAU ON BRINK OF 100 POINTS:

ON HAVING A CAREER YEAR:

"I think I'm the same player as I have played throughout my time here. As you get older, you get a little more experience at kind of reading the situation, time of the game and this and that. But looking back at my past few years, obviously the points weren't there and everything, but when you're playing with... The one year I played with Mony and Lindy - a REALLY healthy Mony, too, and he was a really good player for us that year - and this year playing with Lindy and Chucky, two really, really talented players as well. You've got to find the right match of players to play with and create some chemistry and go from there. Maybe the past two or three years, I haven't found that chemistry with those lines, but I still the same player that I've been."

"I enjoy every time I step on the ice"

ON HAVING FUN AT THE RINK:

"I enjoy it every time I step on the ice. I never take it for granted, what I get to do. So, sometimes it's frustrating when you're losing games, but you never have a bad day here, coming to the rink, being with your teammates, and getting play hockey as your job."

ON HAVING HIS PARENTS IN TOWN:

"It's exciting. Obviously, they haven't been here in a long time and they're super excited. It's been a while since they got to be here at the 'Dome. They're excited, I'm excited, it's going to be a fun couple weeks here with them.
"It was planned. They were coming out. My dad just got done coaching last weekend - they lost in nationals. He's done coaching, so he's coming up for two weeks, and I'll be surprised if he goes home before I go home at the end of the season, so we'll see.
"My parents love to go out to eat and eat some steaks, they really enjoy that. Pretty much the same. Play cards, watch some movies, just feel like I'm at home again."

ON HIS FATHER, GUY:

"He was a farmer growing up, my dad. Milked the cows before school. Came home from school, he had to do it. Younger siblings are a little better at sports than him because he was always out on the farm, so I kind of look at him - I guess - as similar (to Darryl Sutter). He was always hard on me, my dad, growing up. If I played bad, he was hard on me and that's why I play well under coaches that demand a lot from their players. I kind of grew up that way, always expecting me to be the best on the ice, work the hardest, and I think that's what made the player I am today."

ANDREW MANGIAPANE ON GAUDREAU:

"I told him, 'Don't be nervous. Just get that 100th point out of the way for us.' But other than that, I think guys are pretty excited. He's pretty close and is having an awesome season. Just want to keep playing the way he is."

"We want to have a good record here"

SUTTER ON FACING THE KRAKEN:

"I think there's three different versions of teams that you play when you get into the last two or three weeks of the season. Number one, are teams that are used to being a playoff team or being a long run-type of team that are getting their game in order - they'd be tweaking and trying to perk things up. Then there'd be teams that are fighting for spots; then there'd be teams with players that are fighting for jobs and are trying to stay in the organization, so that would be the team we're playing tonight.
"If you look at their team if you do a deeper dive into it, Seattle doesn't give up much. They're in the Top 10 in chances against and shots against, all those things. Look at the games we've played - 2-1 in here and then we played them 4-1 the other night. ... If you look at it, the scores - if you do a real breakdown - teams and top players don't score many goals against Seattle."

"Seattle doesn't give up much"

ON GAUDREAU'S 100-POINT PURSUIT:

"From a line standpoint, I think they want to play better than they did last game. From a personal standpoint, I know how he's going to play (laughs)."
