HEAD DARRYL SUTTER ON BLUELINERS:

ON PLAYERS THINKING LESS/REACTING MORE:

"I think that they are, to be quite honest, working very hard to try and do that. Even today, we do a classrom-style (practice) to reinforce some of the areas where they have to get better at. It should come natural to them. They can't read it in the book when they're out on the ice and it's not being called in from the box upstairs. They have to react quicker and better and that's something that takes time to get better (at). It's something that needs to be reinforced again. We played three games in four days and that needs to be reinforced ... again. The players have done a good job responding to that."

JUUSO VALIMAKI ON HIS PLAY:

"Good. I've been feeling really good now. The last couple weeks have been a little different and tough for me, but I feel really good out there and I think I've been bringing my effort and helping the team win. I think we're playing good hockey right now and we've got to keep going with that."

"I've been feeling really good now"

ON DEFENCE GENERATING GOALS:

"I think we're all capable of that. All of our D men, we have good instincts and the ability to bring offence to the team. I think it's good and really doesn't matter who scores a goal as long as we score them. But as a defensive group, we're definitely able to do that and get some from the backend, too."

SEAN MONAHAN ON PLAYOFF ATMOSPHERE

"Every game is a big game and it's, right now, we're fighting for our lives. We've got to win games night in and night out. We're taking it day-by-day, but that feel is there and it's been there all year, so we've got to rise to the occasion."

"Every game is a big game"

ON TEAM'S FACE-OFF DOMINATION WEDNESDAY:

"That's obviously nice, but as a group of centremen, you try and win every faceoff. That's where it starts, you want to start with the puck and you don't want to be chasing it. When you do that, you get some good offensive looks and that goal by Hanny last night, that was a big goal with Backs winning the faceoff."
