SAY WHAT: 'THOSE ARE BIG GOALS'

DARRYL SUTTER ON HOW THE GAME PLAYED OUT:

ON TIMELY GOALS:

"I think both those powerplay goals (were important). They were at real pivotal times. One was early in the game and one's real early in the period, too. Those are big goals. We talked about needing a big game out of Lindy's line and we scored big goals for us."

ON QUICK REPLY AFTER WILD GOAL:

"This building here is such a momentum building. They play a physical, come-at-you-hard game, and to get that momentum right away with that shift, that's a big goal."

ELIAS LINDHOLM ON KEYS TO VICTORY:

"I'd say we got some goals at the right time there early on in the first and the third, and obviously Marky played unreal in net and (we) scored five goals. Overall, it was a solid game. They played physical and we managed it pretty (well) and found a way."

ON HIS GOAL:

"Obviously, we scored at the right time today. Like I said, at the beginning of the first and beginning of the third. It was right after they scored 2-1, we took the momentum away and scored (to make it) 3-1."

ON SWEEPING HOME-AND-HOME SET:

"Obviously, the 7-1 game, I don't know. It was a tough one. Everything that could go wrong, went wrong. But it's good that our team find ways to re-group and (we) beat a good team twice. We're a good team, so it's fun.
"We were prepared. Obviously, they have a good record here, so we were ready, we were hungry to get a win here. We were prepared, had a good morning skate. We had some momentum goals and Marky was unreal in net. It was overall a solid game."

ANDREW MANGIAPANE ON THE PP:

"I think it was a good job by our powerplay there to get the early one. That was a big goal for us. That was our mentality going into the game - 'Let's get that first goal' - and the powerplay did that and executed. Timely goals are good and they meant a lot in this game."

ON LINDHOLM LINE'S RESPONSE:

"That was another big goal there. They just scored there and it was the shift right after. It was a good play by that line and it was a good shot by Lindy. It was a big goal for us and got us back on track."
