Lindholm on tonight's contest against the Canucks:

"Tough test today. Vancouver is playing well, a lot of good players; hopefully we can build off that road trip and play a good game."

On his recent run of form:

"I think I had chances, I’ve just got to put them in. It would have been different if I had just skated around and didn’t have any chances. It will come; as long as the team is playing well, I’m not worried and focused on that. It’s all about winning."

"Just gotta put them in"

Weegar on containing the Canucks' top players:

"I think we’ve got to be physical on their key players; they’re a pretty talented group, and they’re a pretty confident group right now. We’ve got to come out, make them defend right away, and be physical on their skill."

On the energy provided by the young guys:

"You see the smiles on their faces, but I think it’s made the room a little bit more competitive. Maybe some guys are fighting for bigger roles or bigger jobs, it’s creating a little bit more of a competitive attitude in our dressing room, which I think is what we needed."

"We gotta be physical on their skill"

Huberdeau on playing with Backlund and Coleman:

"They’re guys that are really responsible defensively, and I think we play against top lines. I think you’ve just got to make sure you’re good defensively; Backs is a really smart guy, I think he’s in the right position a lot of times. I think that can help us offensively, and Colesy, I mean, he’s a fast guy that has a good shot, too."

On returning home for two games:

"It was a good trip, and we have a hard schedule, we go on the road again, so I think we’ve got to take these two games at home, in front of our fans, I think it hasn’t been easy. We’ve got to show them what kind of team we are; lately we’ve been playing better, more consistent throughout 60 minutes, and that’s what we’ve got to do against a really good team that’s coming in tonight."

"We’ve got to show them what kind of team we are"

Huska on the rivalry with the Canucks:

"These games are fun, like we have a lot of connections with Vancouver, Marky of course, but there’s a lot along those lines. They always seem to bring the best out of us; whether that’s because of the rivalry or things like the Marky thing, playing for us now. This is a good test for us, because they’re playing near the top of the league right now and they have some guys that are real dangerous, we know that by looking at the scoring leaders in the NHL. So it’ll be a fun night for us."

On finding consistency with his D pairings:

"I think we’re getting there, I really do. You know, we challenged the - if you want to call it - the five of them, Nick and Dennis are guys that are really pushing each other to stay in there consistently. But you want them to feel good about who they’re playing with all the time, it’s the same with forward lines; eventually you want to set on something, so they know exactly where they’re going to be. They have that dialogue, whether it’s just by looking at their linemate or by actually talking to them. You get a better connection when you’re around guys more often, and I think we’re getting there on the back end."

"This is a good test for us"
