SAY WHAT: 'YOU CAN'T PLAY TIGHT'

DARRYL SUTTER ON STATE OF THE TEAM:

MARK GIORDANO ON THE PLAYOFF RACE:

"We still feel that if we can take care of our games… We know we pretty much have to win them all, (and if we do) we feel we still have a chance. The one thing is that you can't play tight, you can't play not to make a mistake, because then you usually do. You have to find that balance where you have that intensity and that emotion, but you're not too tight where you can't make plays under pressure."

ON 'PLAYING THE RIGHT WAY':

"I think we've played well for a while. We went through a tough stretch where we were playing well, playing the right way, but we weren't scoring goals and winning games. But I think the last little bit, any game where we can find a few to get a few goals - two or three - we're usually on the right side of it, so that's got to be our mindset. I think we've been playing with the right structure and details for a while now."

JUUSO VALIMAKI ON TEAM'S GAME UNDER SUTTER:

"I think the last little bit, we've already started to get there as a team. I feel that the team is really starting to understand how to play the way he wants, and that's going to help us as a team to win games. Now, I think the biggest challenge for us is to do it every night. We've done a pretty good job lately. We lost a couple of tough ones there, which we could have done a better job with. But overall, we know how to play the right way now. We've just got to do it every night."

ON PAIR WITH MICHAEL STONE:

"We've played some games together in the past, so obviously bit a of a familiar feeling. He's a good player, he's a great guy, it's easy to communicate with him. I think we both can make plays and stuff. I like to play the puck a little bit more and he's a heavy defender, and that's an area I can get better at, but I think we've done a good job with that. We're different players and I think we fit well together. I think it's been good the last number of games and we're excited for another one tonight."
