VEGAS (February 18, 2021) - Vegas Golden Knights General Manager Kelly McCrimmon announced today, February 18, the following roster transactions: forward Patrick Brown and goaltender Dylan Ferguson were recalled to the Golden Knights taxi squad while defenseman Carl Dahlstrom and forward Gage Quinney were assigned to the Henderson Silver Knights.

Brown has appeared in one regular-season game and two playoff games for the Golden Knights. In three total games, he has scored two goals. He serves as the captain of the Henderson Silver Knights and has played in three American Hockey League games this season, collecting two points (1 G, 1 A). Last season, Brown appeared in 60 games for the AHL's Chicago Wolves and posted 21 points (7 G, 14 A) to go with 26 penalty minutes. Prior to joining Vegas, he played in 28 regular-season NHL games, all with the Carolina Hurricanes, and posted two points (1 G, 1 A) to go with eight penalty minutes. During the 2018-19 season with Carolina, he also appeared in eight Stanley Cup playoff games. The Bloomfield Hills, Michigan native helped the AHL's Charlotte Checkers capture the 2019 Calder Cup. He finished with 10 points (5 G, 5 A) to go with 18 penalty minutes in 16 Calder Cup playoff games after posting 35 points (19 G, 16 A) to go with 32 penalty minutes in 70 regular-season games. Brown signed a two-year contract with the Golden Knights on July 1, 2019.
Ferguson has made one appearance for the Silver Knights and helped lead the team to their first shutout in franchise history after stopping all 24 shots against the Bakersfield Condors on February 13. Last season with the ECHL's Fort Wayne Comets, Ferguson sported a 7-4-2 record to go with a 3.87 goals-against average and a .869 save percentage. He also appeared in two games for the AHL's Chicago Wolves, going 1-0-0 with a 1.60 GAA and a .941 save percentage. Ferguson made his NHL debut for the Golden Knights against the Edmonton Oilers on November 14, 2017. He was in net for 9:14, made one save and allowed one goal. Vegas acquired the Lantzville, B. C. native and a second-round pick in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft from the Dallas Stars on June 26, 2017 in exchange for defenseman Marc Methot. On September 28, 2017, Ferguson signed a three-year, entry level contract with the Golden Knights.
Dahlstrom has recorded 10 points (0 G, 10 A) to go with 12 penalty minutes in 64 career NHL games. This season, he has appeared in two games for the Silver Knights. The Stockholm, Sweden native appeared in 15 games for the Jets during the 2019-20 season and posted one assist. He made his NHL debut with the Chicago Blackhawks on February 10, 2018 at the Minnesota Wild. Dahlstrom was selected in the second round (51st overall) of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft by the Chicago Blackhawks. The Golden Knights acquired Dahlstrom and a conditional fourth-round draft selection in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft from the Winnipeg Jets on October 9, 2020 in exchange for forward Paul Stastny.
Quinney became the first player born in the state of Nevada to appear in an NHL game after playing against Florida on February 22. He recorded his first NHL point, an assist, at Anaheim on February 23 and has appeared in three games for the Golden Knights this season. The Las Vegas native appeared in 46 games for the Wolves this season and posted 36 points (17 G, 19 A) to go with eight penalty minutes. Quinney originally signed a two-year, entry-level contract with the Golden Knights on June 1, 2018 and signed a one-year extension with the team on October 7, 2020.
