VEGAS (January 18, 2023) - The Vegas Golden Knights will welcome the year of the rabbit at the team's Lunar New Year Knight on Saturday, January 21 when T-Mobile Arena plays host to the Washington Capitals at 7 p.m. PT. Resorts World Las Vegas is the game's presenting sponsor. Special warmup jerseys and a variety of activations before, during and after the game will highlight the team's celebration of the Lunar New Year, which officially begins January 22 and is traditionally celebrated in China and many other Asian nations.

Before the game a dancing dragon from the Lohan School of Shaolin will participate in the pregame march and perform on the stage at Toshiba Plaza. Special guests on the pregame rally siren and the Knight Club DJ set will represent cultures that celebrate Lunar New Year.
The team's warmup jerseys will feature a unique shield with "Golden Knights" written in Chinese characters. A patch on the chest of each jersey features a rabbit with a moon in the background. Players' nameplates on the back will be written in Chinese characters. Members of the Knights Guard will also wear Lunar New Year-themed outfits for the game.
The warmup jerseys will be signed and bundled up with a locker room nameplate that fans can purchase through an online auction. To participate, fans can visit
