Join Eric Staal and his guests for a special VIP reception in the Lenovo Center’s Arena Club, presented by Coastal Credit Union. More than a dozen Hurricanes alumni including Staal, Justin Williams, Ray Whitney, Matt Cullen, Cory Stillman, Cam Ward, Mike Commodore, Scott Walker, Chad LaRose and Erik Cole will be at the event, which will include a panel discussion about Staal’s career.

Tickets to the event are $350, with proceeds benefiting the Carolina Hurricanes Foundation. Fans who attend the reception must also purchase a separate ticket to attend the game. Click here to purchase tickets to the reception.

Guests will receive food and drinks, as well as an exclusive souvenir box containing two commemorative Eric Staal pucks and the opportunity to mix and mingle with Hurricanes greats. Guests are also guaranteed to receive the bobblehead and banner giveaway items, presented by UNC Health.

Arrive early to Sunday's game to witness Hurricanes history during Eric Staal's Jersey Retirement Ceremony & Hurricanes Hall of Fame Induction, presented by UNC Health. Lenovo Center doors will open at 3:00 p.m. and the festivities will start at 3:30, prior to warmups for the team's 5:00 p.m. puck drop against the Anaheim Ducks.

During the ceremony, Eric Staal will be officially inducted into the Hurricanes Hall of Fame and his #12 will be raised to the rafters alongside Rod Brind'Amour, Ron Francis and Glen Wesley.

The first 6,500 fans in attendance at Sunday's game will receive a limited-edition Eric Staal Retirement Night bobblehead, courtesy of UNC Health.

All fans in attendance will receive a commemorative Eric Staal Retirement Night mini banner, presented by UNC Health.

Eric Staal and more than 15 of his former teammates will take on NC State’s Icepack club hockey team in the Hurricanes Alumni Game, presented by Coastal Credit Union, at 7:00 p.m. at Lenovo Center on Monday, Jan. 13.

Participating alumni include Ray Whitney, Rod Brind’Amour, Cam Ward, Justin Williams, Mike Commodore, Chad LaRose, Tim Gleason, Erik Cole, Sean Hill, Patrick Eaves and Derek Stepan. General admission tickets to the game are $20, with front- and second-row reserved seating available for $100 and $75, respectively. Tickets will go on sale Friday, Dec. 20.

The night will also include a chuck-a-puck fundraiser and an auction featuring autographed, game-worn jerseys from participating alumni.
